Cow Farming Training Program, Phikkal.

The Cow Farming Training Program was conducted from 28^th Jestha to 30^th Jestha 2082 at Phikkal, Ilam with 30 participants. The program aimed to educate farmers on modern and sustainable cow farming practices to enhance productivity, animal welfare, and economic returns. The opening session of the program was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor of Suryodaya Municipality, Ilam Mr. Durga Kumar Baral as chief guest and Suryodaya Municipality ward no 9 chairman, Mr. Devendra Sharma as a special guest. Other attendees included Mr. Devendra Prasad Sangroula, branch manager of the Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Phikkal branch, Mr. Kalyan Babu Karki, Senior Regional Manager from Birtamode office NUBL

The training successfully enhanced participants’ technical skills and willingness to implement efficient cow farming methods. Continuous support and monitoring will ensure long-term impact on productivity and livelihoods.
