Commercial Animal Husbandry at Sallibazar, Bangad Kupinde Municipality-1, Salyan District, Karnali Province.

Nirdhan organized  entrepreneurial development training program for 3 days at Salyan, Sallibazar, Bangad Kupinde Municipality-1, Salyan District, Karnali Province from 16th of Feb 2024 to 18th of Feb 2024. Altogether there were 26 women participants. During the opening session of the training program, Sallibazar, Bangad Kupinde Municipality-1, Salyan District ward-01, Ward Member Mrs. Bhagawati Basnet, was the prominent guest. The course was conducted by Mr. Gautam Kumar Yadav, Mr. Yagya Bahadur Khadka, and Mr. Shivaraj Rai.

Overall, the training achieved its objectives as gathered from the evaluation of participants. The evaluation process revealed that women livestock keepers who had limited knowledge on good husbandry practices had greatly increased their understanding in that area. The training has served as a good platform that has prepared them sufficiently to build capacities of farmers to improve on the husbandry practices.
