Position: Enumerators for Baseline Survey (Short-Term Assignment)
Location: Lumbini Province (Banke District)

Nirdhan invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for short-term Enumerators to support the baseline survey of the Women Empowered through Community and Resilience Enhancing Health Systems (WE CARE) Project in Banke District, Lumbini Province.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the field data collection team, the Enumerators will be responsible for:

• Conducting structured interviews with respondents using tablet/mobile-based survey tools (training will be provided).
• Building rapport with respondents and asking questions accurately and respectfully.
• Traveling to assigned urban and rural communities for data collection.
• Ensuring adherence to ethical research standards, including maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of collected data.

Required Qualifications and Skills

We value integrity, curiosity, and commitment to quality data collection. Suitable candidates should:

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow survey protocols accurately.
• Be comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic productivity tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Google Sheets, MS Word, and Excel, or be willing to learn.
• Be able to travel and work in diverse field environments.
• Have fluency in Nepali and preferably at least one local/regional language spoken in Banke District.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Show a level of honesty, professionalism, and commitment to ethical data collection.

Previous experience in survey implementation, or field data collection will be considered an advantage.

Salary:

• As per the organization rule.

Positions available

We plan to onboard 5 field researchers into our roster. Shortlisted candidates will take part in a practical assessment to demonstrate their skills.
