Commercial Vegetable Farming Training Program to the Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd Clients, Syangja, Putalibazar Branch .

The training program was conducted from 16th April 2024 to 18th April 2024 on ‘Commercial Vegetable Farming’ at Putalibazar, Syangja where 27 members of Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd Putalibazar branch office participated. The chief guest was Mr. Uttam Prasad Shrestha the chairman of Putalibazar Municipality-1, Syangja District, Gandaki Province who inaugurated in opening of the Commercial Vegetable Farming Training Program.

The main goal of the training program was to increase farmers’ ability to generate revenue by using vegetable farming technologies. According to the response from the participants, the agricultural training training program with resource persons Mr. Guru Prasad Aryal, Mr. Bikash B K, and Mrs. Sushmita Kunwar was a great success.The training covered soil management, nursery care, irrigation, fertilizer application, pest control, and discussed various types of plastic houses and tunnels for climate-resilient farming. Through demonstrations, farmers gained insights into plastic house design, layout planning and construction. With these newfound learnings in mind, these women now have more options to improve their and their family’s lives. We concluded the 3-day training with the distribution of certificates.
